InCoax strengthens the organization in North America to accelerate sales

With Doug Gilbert as business developer for the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, InCoax strengthens its commercial expertise and presence on MoCA®’s home market.

Doug Gilbert has extensive experience in sales and business development roles from companies such as Xerox, Oki Phones, AT&T, Rogers, Logica / CMG / Acision, Intrado, UMS and Mobilaris in the North American market. He founded Canadian Presence in 2002, which specializes in helping companies enter the North American market.

“For a long time, we have received a lot of inquiries from potential customers in both Canada and the US. We are convinced that this is because North America is the MoCA® standard’s home market, where all operators are familiar with MoCA for home networks. This recognition offers us a big advantage with a solution based on MoCA Access ™ 2.5. We choose to begin our presence in North America through Doug Gilbert. We consider it necessary to have a local presence in order to be successful. With the strengthening of the organization and Doug’s long experience in the industry, I look forward to being able to develop our sales,” says Håkan Rusk, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for InCoax.

“InCoax’s entry and launch of in:xtnd™ into North America brings a strategic complement to the traditional DOCSIS solutions. It gives both traditional and emerging fibre players a technologically advanced, standard-based, solution that, with minimal impact in the home, offers performance in par with direct fiber connections without new wiring,” says Doug Gilbert.

Doug Gilbert will start on September 23rd and report to Håkan Rusk, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
